New Book Launched to
Enthusiastic Audience –
Book Focuses on Myasthenia Gravis and Other
Autoimmune Diseases.
At the annual meeting of the Myasthenia Gravis Association, Inc.,
Dr. Ronald E. Henderson introduced his new book, Attacking Myasthenia
Gravis: A Key in the Battle Against Autoimmune Disease. The book
describes a sense of empowerment, a sense of taking charge, and
a sense of understanding how the healthcare system works and how
you can work through the healthcare system It gives a message to
patients and to physicians; it tells physicians how they can allow
their patients to play a more active role in their own care. In
this book, there are four who tell of the journeys they are making
in regard to myasthenia gravis. Chapters are targeted at MG patients,
their doctors and their caregivers and it outlines a 12-step plan
to improved health.

A New Foundation, A New Website, and A New Book –
Tools in the Battle Against Autoimmune Disease
This news article describes the simultaneous “birthing” of
a new foundation, a new website, and a new book – all dedicated
to the battle against autoimmune diseases. The foundation, IADRF,
the International Autoimmune Disease Research Foundation, is dedicated
to the battle against autoimmune diseases. (Any of the many diseases
related to a destructive process in which the body’s immune
system somehow turns against an individual.)
Also described is the new website, www.IADRF.org, which will serve
as an information clearinghouse for IADRF to announce new developments
related to IADRF’s battle against autoimmune diseases as
well as document case histories of MG patients and much more.
Also launched is Dr. Ron Henderson’s book, Attacking Myasthenia
Gravis, A Key in the Battle Against Autoimmune Disease. This book
focuses on Myasthenia Gravis, or MG, but goes far beyond issues
related to MG. It’s a book designed to both inform and inspire
autoimmune disease patients and other chronic disease patients.
